PQMD members in conversation at a convening

Members reflect on this year’s Collaboration & Learning Forum

A recap of key sessions, panel highlights, and the conversations members carried home from this year’s Forum.

Nonprofit and corporate leaders gathered for two days of candid exchange on quality, accountability, and the practical realities of delivering care in underserved communities. Sessions ranged from donation Guidelines in practice to coordination before, during, and after emergencies.

What members took away

Across panels and peer roundtables, a few themes came up again and again: the value of shared standards, the power of cross-sector relationships, and the need to put learning into practice quickly.

  • Shared Guidelines make complex partnerships simpler to start and easier to sustain.
  • Early coordination between sectors improves the quality and timing of response.
  • Peer networks turn one-off conversations into ongoing collaboration.
Panel discussion at the Forum
Panelists discuss cross-sector coordination on the main stage.

“The best conversations happened between sessions — across sectors, with people who face the same challenges from different angles.”
